Ferrite Pot Magnet

A ceramic or ferrite pot magnet is a type of magnet assembly that combines a ceramic or ferrite magnet encased within a steel shell or pot. This design not only protects the brittle ferrite magnet but also enhances its magnetic performance. The steel pot focuses the magnetic field on one side of the magnet, increasing the magnet’s holding power on that side while shielding the other sides.

These medium-sized, ferrite (Y30BH) pot magnets are chrome plated with a countersunk hole on the magnetic face. Magnetism is concentrated on one face to provide the maximum holding force.
