Samarium Ring Magnet

Samarium Cobalt (SmCo) ring magnet is a type of high-performance, rare-earth magnet characterized by its ring shape, made from an alloy of samarium and cobalt. Samarium cobalt is the second strongest magnetic material behind neodymium and while not quite as strong has neodymium they are much more resistant to corrosion and have much higher maximum operating temperatures.

Some of the ring magnets are supplied uncoated, while some are finished with a triple coating of nickel, copper and nickel. These magnets are known for their exceptional magnetic properties, including high magnetic strength, remarkable temperature stability, and excellent resistance to corrosion. SmCo ring magnets are widely used in various applications where space is limited, and high magnetic strength is required in high-temperature environments or in situations where corrosion resistance is important.
